Fargo DTC4250e Direct-to-Card Printer
The HID Fargo DTC4250e is an impressive printer, designed to handle small to medium-sized locations. The printer, like the DTC1250e, is designed to be completely modular (and mostly field upgradable), so that it can easily adapt to your printing requirements, or environment. The Fargo DTC4250 is a part of HID’s ecosystem, and with that, has been officially approved to work with a variety of different access control systems and other third party systems.
Unlike the DTC1250e, or other entry level printers, the DTC4250e has a digital display, which allows the end user to quickly determine what is the printer requires.
The DTC4250e primarily uses the EZ cartridges, so when the ribbons are changed, it’s easy to pop in a new ribbon and cleaning roller, making supply changes easier on the end user. The DTC4250e also has more specialized ribbons available, including UV ribbons, ½ panel ribbons, and a large variety of monochrome colour ribbons.
The DTC4250e has been deployed to a variety of different environments, and we’ve had minimal technical support requirements for the unit. Regular cleaning helps keep your printer running well, reducing the time potentially needed for technical support. All printers purchased from E-CARD come with lifetime phone and email support, above and beyond the manufacturer warranty provided with the printer (and supported by E-CARD).

Three-year depot warranty available on printer and printhead with completion of online printer registration. Two-year warranty standard on printer and printhead without online printer registration. Warranties are fully supported by E-CARD IDExperts out of our Delta depot. Client is responsible for shipping the printer to IDExperts (with provided case number) but warranty service includes ground shipping (uninsured) back to the client.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure you order the correct items. Items ordered in error will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, provided they are returned unopened.
Please check your package and report any discrepancies within 10 days of receipt.
A Return Authorization number (RA#) must be assigned to all shipments being returned to E-CARD ID Products Ltd. The RA# can be obtained by contacting an E-CARD ID (IDEXPERTS) representative. Each RA# can only be used once, for one shipment. RA's are canceled if not used within 30 days.
The RA# must be prominently displayed on the shipping label. If the RA# is not visible, the shipment may be refused. DO NOT place shipping labels or write RA# on the outside of the manufacturer's boxes. Re-box all returns in appropriate shipping cartons.
Return Authorizations will not be issued for:
- Opened ribbons
- Opened cards
- Used card printers
- Opened packages of accessories
- Custom items
Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of E-CARD ID Products Ltd., we may agree to accept returns on certain products subject to a 25% restocking fee.
