This new survey from VISA shows that Canadians prefer to use their finger or another biometric instead of passwords. Their perception of biometrics is considerably more favourable than consumers in other advanced countries.
The ease of use and enhanced security that comes from biometrics will result in more sales to online retailers who incorporate biometrics into their e-commerce & storefront platforms. Canadian consumers believe, by and large, that biometrics speed up the process of purchasing.
