OVERVIEW

The IDP SMART-51 printer builds on the features of the SMART-31 printer, adding some features to better handle larger printing jobs and to extend the printer's lifespan. The SMART-51 printer has a metal frame (as opposed to the plastic one used for the SMART-31), making it a more durable printer. It also has many more additional configurations available, as well as a laminator, which helps produce cards with a longer image lifespan.

The SMART-51, unlike its baby brother, has an LCD screen, making it easy on the end user to know what the printer needs. It is also able to print more cards, more quickly due to a larger hopper, and faster print speed.

The SMART-51 printer uses the same ribbon loading system as the SMART-31, and has many of the same ribbon types. The laminates available also have a high number of generic holographic options (including ones for fire, police, and health services), so your cards will be secure with a design unique to your industry.

The SMART-51 has a standard three (3) year warranty, that includes parts, labour, and a replacement card printer if needed, ensuring you are never without a printer. So if you need to issue badges on-demand, 24/7, you’ll always be ready. All printers purchased from E-CARD come with lifetime phone and email support, above and beyond the manufacturer warranty provided with the printer (and supported by E-CARD).

WARRANTY DETAILS

Three-year hot swap warranty (parts and labour), fully supported by E-CARD IDExperts out of our Delta depot. Client is responsible for shipping printer to IDExperts (with provided case number), but warranty service includes ground shipping (uninsured), back to the client.

SHIPPING INFO

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). At this time, E-CARD ID Products Ltd. only ships merchandise to locations within Canada and the USA. We ship via FedEx for dependable service and package tracking. Shipping time and costs vary depending on your location. Please contact us for more information.

RETURN POLICY

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure you order the correct items. Items ordered in error will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, provided they are returned unopened.

Please check your package and report any discrepancies within 10 days of receipt.

A Return Authorization number (RA#) must be assigned to all shipments being returned to E-CARD ID Products Ltd. The RA# can be obtained by contacting your E-CARD ID Representative. Each RA# can only be used one time for one shipment. RA#’s are canceled if not used within 30 days.

The RA# must be prominently displayed on the shipping label. If the RA# is not visible, the shipment may be refused. DO NOT place shipping labels or write the RA# on the outside of the manufacturer’s boxes. Re-box all returns in appropriate shipping cartons.
